Did you know that in 53 AD, a church once stood (remnants shown above) where Apostle Paul set sail from the port of Kechrees (eastern port of Corinth) to Ephesus on his third Missionary Journey. From one door opened, Apostle Paul was persecuted and the message of Christ was rejected. (Acts 19:9) Although the doors were closed, its remarkable that so many doors opened. Paul was forbidden to speak in the synagogue, but the Lord opened a much wider door in the providence of Asia to hear the Good News. (Acts 19:9-10) From being known for casting out demons (Acts 19:13-17) to revival in Ephesus, the move of the Holy Spirit was GREAT! The remaining events during Paul's missionary journey warranted him to stop at cities along the way as he made his return trip to Jerusalem gathering believers together giving them them encouraging words to establish their faith. (Acts 20:1-36, Acts 21:1-17)
